It is usually a 3-5 day recovery process, one of our knowledgeable  technicians will skimm the pool, brush and test the water to find out what parameters need balancing.  Additionally, the technician will shock the pool to kill the algae.  This is one of the most important steps in the process.

It is important to note that in some cases a very large or  highly neglected pool will require multiple shocks.  Algaecide is used to stop any more algae from growing.  During the process the filter will be cleaned as needed.  In most instances it will be cleaned 2 to 3 times or until all the dead algae is removed from the system.
